Matthew Blakemore works where artificial intelligence meets the rules that will govern it. He is one of the four global sub-editors of ISO/IEC 8183, the international standard for the AI data lifecycle, a contributor to the EU AI Office’s General-Purpose AI Code of Practice, and an adviser to boards, banks and broadcasters across Europe.

He is the founder and CEO of AI Caramba!, the AI strategy and governance firm named AI Solutions Provider of the Year 2025, European Regional Director at Monarrch, and a US patent holder for AI-driven classification technology.

Away from the boardroom he is a self-taught, award-winning songwriter and AI filmmaker, with more than twenty IMDb credits, Best Song wins at the Cannes World Film Festival and finalist placements in the UK Songwriting Contest.
